
Evan Koch is a Certified Public Accountant holding the Personal Financial Specialist designation of the American Institute of CPAs. Evan earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Masters of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA’s Personal Financial Planning Section, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Evan began his career as a tax consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP specializing in the financial services industry, where he provided tax services to public and privately held financial institutions, including hedge funds, real estate investment trusts, banks, and insurance companies.
His desire to directly impact individuals and their families led to a focus over the past 15 years on developing and maintaining innovative comprehensive financial plans. Evan works with a diverse national client base that include dentists, physicians, other professionals, and business owners in all phases of career and life, including individuals who are employees, individuals who are starting-up or buying a business, established business owners, and retirees.
Evan’s extensive tax planning experience allows him to incorporate individual and business tax strategies into comprehensive financial plans that may include pension planning, wealth management, and business structuring. This unique skill set allows Evan to be the central advisor to individuals seeking to develop a plan to achieve their business and personal financial goals, evaluate transactions to purchase or transition a business, develop a business growth strategy, or successfully transition into retirement with a plan to maintain and perpetuate wealth.
Evan and his wife Brandie live in Frisco, Texas with their two sons, Grant and Gavin. As a family, they enjoy traveling, live music, sports, and finding new adventures.
